Today students had 30+ minutes to take a 20 question, OPEN NOTE Quiz. Students were told to turn-in their Cornell Notes on Chapter 1, Section 4 (the homework assignment from 10/05/17) with their Quiz. These Notes are part of their assessment considering that we have spent the past weeks practicing the skill of writing proper Cornell Notes. In other words, they are also being tested on how well they have learned how to take Cornell Notes. Sadly, even though given at least 40 minutes of dedicated class time to complete this task, many students have chosen to simply not take Cornell Notes on Chapter 1, Section 4. For this reason, you will see two grades for this Quiz. One for the Notes and one for the 20 question Quiz itself. This assignment CANNOT be turned-in late because it is an assessment which is time sensitive. The students were informed of this EVERY DAY in class.
