Today students participated in our first Binder Check. Our Binder Checks ensure that students are coming to Science class prepared and ready for success.
Part of the homework that was assigned on 8/21/18 (and everyday in class after that) was to make sure that students had all of their required supplies for Science by today.
After our Binder Check we numbered our ISNs. The ISN is always numbered on the bottom outside corner of each side of every sheet. In the ISN, all right side pages should be ODD and all left side pages should be EVEN. We number every page to remind students that they are NOT to rip any sheets out of their ISN. But for today we only numbered our reference pages (I - XXII) and our regular pages from 1-22.
Students worked at their own pace and were asked to have the lab partner double check their work for accuracy. The Classroom Expectations notes were on the student's desk for the entire period.
Homework is simply to complete any incomplete classwork. This means that students that did not have their ISN today are expected to get their page numbering done on their own time.
