Today it became very obvious that most students did not complete their homework that was assigned in class on Thursday. This meant that they were not ready to work in their groups today to move their project forward for completion by the 10/31/17 deadline.
Students were allowed access to the Chromebooks for the entire period today as a result (one Chromebook per group of four students). Each student was assigned 6-8 simple definitions/diets on Thursday. As of today, a total of 80 minutes of class time to complete their research has been provided. Students that do not have their research complete as of 10/31/17 (at the beginning of class) will not be able to receive higher than a "D" for their individual grade on this Trimester Final Lab Project. However, they will need to complete their portion of the project to receive anything other than a ZERO for their Group Project grade.
This project's due date has been changed to the end of the period on Thursday, 11/02/17 - and will not be a candidate for late work since I am providing students two extra days of class time to ensure completion.
