Today students recieved their Individual Student Reports indicating which assignments may still be submitted for full credit. These reports have updated grades but NOT updated comments. Comments will be updated ASAP before report cards go home on 11/15/19.
After we reviewed the ISR, we discussed rules and expectations for playing Jeopardy and began our Unit Exam review by playing.
Today students focused on making ISN Check 09 complete in preparation for their Geology on Mars Unit Exam.
I passed back all the work I had turned-in for them (with feedback). They had the entire period to get things glued-in, complete incomplete work, and work on the two Creative Output assignments (page 40 and 44) assigned today.
I described to them how the next two weeks will go as we near the end of Trimester 1. We will play Jeopardy to review for the Unit Exam for Geology on Mars, take our Unit Exam on 11/04/19, and turn-in ISN Check 09 on 11/06/19. I will create a study guide for them for our Trimester 1 Cumulative Final Exam which we will have time in class to work toward completing (Starting 11/04, 11/05, and part of 11/06 after Peer Review). We will then play Jeopardy to review for the Final (11/07 and 11/08), take our Final on 11/12 (Part 1) and 11/13 (Part 2).
ALL LATE WORK for TRIMESTER 1 must be recieved no later than, Friday, 11/08/19 to be considered for grading.
